When the BMW Z4 was out in market, I was thinking, where I saw the model before. Then I recalled, it was one of the James Bond movies, where I saw a similar model. Thanks to BMW for bringing us the vehicle of the silver screen.
BMW replaced the Z3 with the Z4 in 2003; originally it had only a roadster type body of a two-seater. Some people showed a high nose towards the design, but over some months, it was one of the cherished styles of the people in driving seats. BMW did a little modification of the design in the year of 2006. That year saw other additions, too. It had a chick back and better engine options.
In 2007, still the same model was being sold with high demand. Then a few new model variations and shape designs were introduced.
All the BMW Z4 models have six – cylinder engines with different horsepower. They have six-speed manual transmissions, most of them manual, with only option for an alternative automatic gear. These models are fuel efficient, too. Average mpg rates around 20-21 mpg in urban areas and 29-31 mpg on the free roads. Oh, for these elite vehicles, use only the premium-grade fuel.
The BMW Z4 models have dual front airbags, front side-impact airbags, front knee airbags, Anti-lock braking system, brake standby, EBD, brake drying, brake fade compensation, traction control, antiskid control, tire-pressure monitor and for child safety; you have seat anchors of LATCH-type. Moreover, you have a hill-holder system which will hold your vehicle from rolling backward at a sloppy hill.
Thinking about comfort? Excellent upholstery, interior air filter, cruise control, air conditioning, remote keyless entry, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, adjustable bucket seats, heated power mirrors, power windows, power locks, automatic headlights, outside temperature indicator, rear defogger, rain-sensing variable intermittent wipers, fog lights and many other options are available depending upon the models.
